| Job Description: |
Responsibilities:
* Test Maintenance and Execution
* Maintain tests and test data in XML and SQL databases
* Increase code coverage of tests
* Craft, execute, organize and report on performance tests using homegrown ACID test tool
* Test Automation
* Create or enhance test fixtures and/or modify it
* Enhance homegrown ACID performance test tool
* Collaborate on automating additional aspects of Continuous Integration QA environment
Requirements:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
* 3+ years of hands on load/performance/stress testing experience
* Solid understanding of software architecture technologies. (e.g. HTML, XML, Java, Javascript, Web Services, SOA, SOAP, Unix/Linux knowledge)
* Hands on experience with developing automation script frameworks/harnesses
* Demonstrate expertise using both open source and enterprise class technologies
* Comprehensive understanding of how to set up a test (i.e. test duration, test ramp-up/down speed, determining the number of users to test with based on total user population)
* Knowledgeable in python
* Ability to research potential resolutions to performance issues (i.e. find performance recommendations from vendors)
* Understanding of what makes a good performance requirement and what test cases from a project should be included in performance tests
* Ability to document test results and performance recommendations in reports targeted for various audiences
* Solid understanding of the entire software development life cycle process, including requirements, analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation across multiple development methodologies (e.g. waterfall, iterative, prototyping, agile)
* Advanced troubleshooting skills, than can utilize strong development, testing and process skills and knowledge
* Identifies critical issues with ease
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Capability to multi-task across several projects
* Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
* Must be experienced in product roll-out/deployment in various system environment
* Must be knowledgeable on process management and could work independently to set-up a company process standards and QA guidelines.
* Must have background experience in metrics/reporting such as using e-tester tool or any other testing tool for enhancement and fixes.
* Must be hard working and quality centric-person.
* Must be willing to work the night shift.
* Full-Time positions available.
* Required language(s): English.
