Our client, a leading diversified group of companies based in Dubai, is seeking a high caliber Sales Director for their FMCG company. The FMCG operation is involved in manufacturing & distributing a wide variety of fast moving food products.
Reporting to the GM of the company, the incumbent must be a qualified Sales & Distribution professional with a proven track record in distribution management within FMCG industry gained across the region. He / she would be entirely responsible for managing established brands of food & non food product-portfolio across various distribution channels within UAE market. In addition, he / she should have the ability to draw up a sales & distribution plan in line with the overall business-plan set by the management of the company and product portfolio. Such a plan should cover the various sales channels, key accounts management, category management as well as below-the-line marketing activities and general trade. He / She would be actively involved with the entire supply chain of the business right from inventory control at the warehouse to stock level maintenance at the point of sales. A ‘hands-on’ approach to maintain the optimal market-share related to the company’s products through shelf management, SKU levels at point of sale, promotions etc. is the key success factor. Based on performance, the incumbent will have a promising succession plan that allows him /her to grow rapidly.

Skills Required:: |
The ideal candidate must have at least ten years of Sales and Distribution experience within FMCG industry, five years of which must be in the GCC at similar capacity. Also, he/she must be a university degree holder, preferably with MBA.
