| Job Description: |
The Health and Safety Engineer will assist in providing a safe work environment for employees.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate progressive experience in the following:
• Identifying and reviewing occupational hazards and carrying out risk assessments of the activities within the construction area.
• Conducting briefing sessions on Health and Safety to staff, contractors and visitors.
• Coordinating activities during any emergency.
• Organizing and conducting Safety and Fire training.
• Performing daily job site inspections.
• Performing accident investigations and taking the correct action.
• Coordinating safety activities on site.
Qualification: BSc Degree in Health and Safety and/or a professional Health and Safety certification such as Nebosh.
Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
