| Job Description: |
The Assistant Resident Engineer (Structures) will provide engineering support and complete tasks allocated to them on each project.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate progressive experience in the following:
• Carrying out structural design to British standards, American standards and UBC97.
• Coordinating with architects, building services engineers, and other structural engineers.
• Preparing mark ups for CAD technicians and checking drawings when completed.
• Carrying out arithmetical checks of other engineers designs.
• Responsible for the accuracy of own work and the work allocated to CAD technicians.
• Ensuring that allocated work is completed within time frame.
• Providing site backup on technical and design issues where required.
Qualification: BSc Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering. Membership of a professional Engineering Institution would be beneficial.
Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous
