| Job Description: |
Ensure that the right product is developed and delivered to meet Company’s quality standard.
Lead Project Teams and facilitate the communication and interaction amongst the functional representatives as delegated by the assigned Manager.
Prepare periodic management and / or customer reports and presentations as assigned by the supervisor.
Review and verify project estimates monthly (so-called project cost reports) as assigned by the manager.
Perform engineering calculations, review and approval of specification and drawings, commensurate with level of experience.
Study and understand Design Basis Scoping Paper (DBSP) and collect data for the preparation of FEED. Review and approve drawings and specification for a new project from all disciplines. Evaluate and decide the discipline deliverables item during the FEED.
Participate in project related process safety studies (HAZOPS).
Visits the construction site to inspect progress and quality of work in accordance to design and schedule. Orders repair or rework, if non-compliance is found.
Supervise preparation of tender documents, prequalification criteria and evaluation of bid package. Check, approve and answer all queries from bidders. Prepare bidder technical evaluation criteria and bid proposal.
Request contractors to submit work schedules, manpower/equipment/materials input plans, organization charts, key personnel lists, and other technical documents, and examine them to secure contractor’s readiness and compliance with technical requirements.
Controls contractor’s performance by verifying daily progress reports. Check and approve contractor invoices on regular basis.
Report and consult with manager / supervisor on unexpected technical problems arising. Approves modification and changes in design/specifications to contractors.
Coordinates the development of engineering scope definition, budgets, schedule, design quality, safety and change management. Also participates in the preparation of department Operating and Business Plan.
Assists operating departments in operation and maintenance of the competed facilities, when requested.
Perform other work related to his duties as instructed by Division Supervisor.

Skills Required:: |
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
Total 12 years of experience with minimum 8 years in site supervision of industrial and housing construction projects.
Thorough understanding of contract development and implementation.
Experience in Front End Engineering Design and field development/optimisation studies.
Good understanding of Quality Management, Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
Detailed knowledge of design software systems.
Excellent command of spoken and written English, good presentation & interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team.
