| Job Description: |
Position Id: SGS-J005 Description: Day to day activities include researching, designing, developing, and/or modifying enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. Candidate will be involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
This person will also be responsible for valuating the interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. They will also document testing and maintenance of system corrections.
Required Technical Skills and Experience: - 3 + years of IT experience in Java/J2EE technologies
- Experience in design, development, testing, implementation of Java Servlets, JSP, Struts, Spring, JSF, JDBC, XML, Good understanding of connection pooling, Hibernate, EJB related software projects and tools. - Application development using Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL databases
- Languages: Java, HTML, XML, JavaScript, PL/SQL, SQL
- Development Skills: Servlets, JSP, EJB, JDBC, Applets, Java Beans, JMS, JSF
- Database: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL
- Operating System: Windows XP/NT, Solaris, Linux
- Application Servers: Web logic Server, IBM Web Sphere, Apache Tomcat - UNIX/Linux system management skills - Excellent Analytical, Presentation and Communication skills.
- Additional Skills: Struts, Tiles, Spring, Hibernate, Java Server Faces, Junit, J2EE Design Patterns
- Tools: Eclipse, IBM Web Sphere Application Developer, Rational ClearCase, ClearQuest, MS Visual Source Safe, CVS
Education Required:
