Position Id: SGS-DotNet001 Description: Provide analysis, development and support for the Securitization and Funding Plan System applications. The available positions involve various aspects of business analysis, development and support. The development role involves gathering business requirements, application architecture design, coding, unit testing and integration testing of the application enhancement(s). Technical support involves troubleshooting issues on the client server application and supporting databases. Application support includes integration testing for code releases, assisting the business customer with applications questions, issues and duty analyst coverage (pager coverage) and looking for application process improvements.
Required Technical Skills and Experience:
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skill.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when solving unexpected problems.
- Must have the ability to bring technical experience together with business knowledge.
- Strong skills in integrating Word/Excel/Access/Outlook/Visio into VB.Net application.
- Effective time management skills.
- Ability to deliver under pressure.
- Familiarity with PVCS/code management.
- 3+ years of progressive responsibilities in IT, including business analysis and application testing - C#.NET / VB.NET / ASP.NET, SQL SERVER DBMS 2005 - Teradata, IIS, XML, XSL, HTML, CSS - Net Framework 3.0 / 3.5 would be a great plus - Architecture and design experience would be a definite plus. - Excellent Analytical, Presentation and Communication skills.
Education Required:
- Bachelors Degree in computer science or related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
