Brainware Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Support Specialist with strong, analytical and problem solving skills. Brainware is a leading provider of intelligent data capture, desktop and enterprise search and retrieval, and electronic document management solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Work directly with customers to provide support services for core product (Document Management Product Suite).
• Be able to replicate software, project, or custom script issues and escalate accordingly for resolution.
• Work on support tickets to bring to a timely solution in order to ensure customer satisfaction, eliminate downtime, and prevent cost overruns.
• Perform problem analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve product software issues via telephone.
• Perform Level II system administration functions.
• Maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of all the software and services supported by the company.
• Contribute to corporate knowledgebase.
• Contribute to the overall performance of the Help Desk operation.
• Perform Visual Basic, or similar language, troubleshooting and resolution.
• Perform Database troubleshooting and resolution.

Skills Required:: |
Requirements:
• College Degree or Associate Degree in IT related field with minimum 2-3 years software support experience working in a customer support environment; additional experience or certifications can be in lieu of degree
• Basic database knowledge
• Basic programming knowledge/experience in VB or similar languages
• Level II Admin knowledge
• General IT knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and customer/client interaction skills
