Commissioning Engineer / Manager
Position Description
• Position located in Saudi Arabia and duties include the development and safe execution of Commissioning procedures for the Ethylene and Benzene units.
• Management of the Commissioning team during the energization & start of electrical and mechanical systems
• Inspection of all equipment and run-in of rotating equipment as specified by the contract.
• Verification of completed punch list using P&IDs, equipment vendor drawings, and other related data available for the project.
• Ensure all turnover forms are properly completed and signed as required to achieve client acceptance of systems and associated equipment.
• Responsible to ensure all project and client safety policies are followed by the personnel working in your assigned area, and under your supervision. .
• Manage the functional and mechanical testing of the systems and equipment.
Requirements
• The candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the development and execution of Commissioning procedures for Petrochemical Plants.
• Prior experience in Ethylene and Benzene facilities is a plus.
• Have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of supervisory experience in an operating facility and during the execution of Commissioning and start up activities in a newly constructed facility.
• Having supervisory experience working in a multi national work force is an important benefit for the position.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading and writing of the English Language.
• Must have a sound working knowledge of standard procedures required to ensure completion and turnover of systems and equipment to clients.
• An Associate or Engineering degree is not mandatory but will be a plus.
