Job Scope & Responsibilities:
The Siebel Environment Manager should be technically capable and should acquire the following:
„X Siebel eFinance overall Architecture, Installation, Trouble-Shooting, Configuration and Design
„X Siebel Environment Installations and Server Administration
„X Technical knowledge in the area of XML, Web Servers, LDAP integration with Siebel
„X Awareness of Administration of Oracle Database (Oracle DBA Knowledge and UNIX AIX is required)
„X Siebel Tools, Business Service, eScript, and Workflow experience.
„X Coordination with Siebel Systems in Technical Issue Resolution
„X Siebel/Actuate Environment Support Knowledge is preferable
„X EIM knowledge is preferable
„X Data maintenance knowledge is preferable

Skills Required:: |
Required Skills and Experience:
„X 3-5 years of experience as Environment Specialist in Siebel eFinance
„X Handle Siebel eFinance performance monitoring and tuning activities to maximize utilization particularly the production environments
„X Apply Siebel "Quick Fixes" as and when required
„X Provide Siebel technical support to the application developers and production team
„X Awareness of Siebel EAI and Business service Concepts is preferable
„X Understand and maintain of all settings / parameters for all environments (clustered and high availability for QC and Production)
„X Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to articulate complex concepts to user and technical audiences)
„X Migration to new Siebel Releases
„X Document the maintenance / optimization procedures
Education/Training:
„X Computer Science or other computer related degree
„X Siebel 7.x Certification
