| Job Description: |
Our client is one of the biggest construction companies working in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe.
Reports to: Controls & Engineering Manager
Duties:
Plan and coordinate various activities of the project. This includes but is not limited to:
Preparation of Baseline Schedules for the Project
Monitoring progress throughout the construction process and comparing this with the projected schedule of work;
Prepare reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations and/or conclusions.
Presenting schedules of work, often with visual aids such as bar charts and procedures diagrams;
Timely identification of delays and impacts of such delays
Support Contracts/Claim Department for preparation of Claims and Changes
Communicate with other project team members to proactively identify problem areas and delays and setting out remedial actions |
Skills Required:: |
1.B. Sc. Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil/Structural or Architectural
2.At least 5 years relevant experience on site and in the construction planning discipline
3.Proficiency with Primavera P3 and/or MS Project is essential
4.Ability to present information in a sequenced and organized matter
5.Self motivated and dedicated
6.Capable of meeting deadlines
7.Notable communication skills
8.Excellent computer skills (Word and Excel)
9.Excellent verbal and written communication skills
10.Mastering English language (spoken and written) |
