Audit Manager
Salary: $100,000 with full benefits
Responsibilities:
-Managing the team through the entire audit process.
-Keeping abreast of latest developments as they affect GAAP and the firm’s standards and policies.
-Keeping abreast of industry developments and their effects on client’s competitive position.
-Anticipating and addressing client concerns and resolving problems as they arise.
-Promoting new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients.
-Managing the client relationship.
-Managing the timely delivery of the work product.
-Performing the quality control function through review of all work papers, reports and other deliverables to ensure compliance with the firm’s policies and professional standards.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have very recent manager level experience within a public accounting firm in a similar role and have expertise in all aspects of external audit and engagement management.
To be considered, candidates should have:
-Minimum of 5 years of very recent experience in public accounting in a similar role.
-Thorough knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
-Ability to travel (estimated to 15% or less).
-A proven record of building profitable, sustainable client relationships.
-Strong knowledge of GAAP and its implementation.
-A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
-CPA certification. |
