Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Web Designer who is creatively talented, has a good technical understanding, and is really good at combining creativity and website design to achieve business objectives. You must be a perfectionist who obsesses over pixel-perfect designs while be able to juggle multiple projects at one time. You have a solid background in designing for and managing robust websites and constantly challenge yourself to surpass your previous great works. You are good at utilizing user interface techniques and best practices to achieve the best user and customer experience. You must be highly self-motivated, creative, innovative and well versed in website design, enhanced features and functionalities, information architecture, and UI and Ux.
Requirements:
· 5+ years experience working on large-scale, dynamic and creatively sound websites
· Adobe Photoshop, Flash (including ActionScripting), Illustrator and a good understanding of HTML knowledge required. Dreamweaver, Fireworks and CSS desirable
· Strong knowledge of standards and best practices for online media, including user interface, user experience design and information architecture as well as impressive samples of work in the online world
· Strong understanding and practice of the importance of designing to meet business and project objectives
· Strong conceptual skills, a meticulous eye for detail, and the ability to take a project from inception to completion
· Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams in a collaborative, teamwork environment
· Ability to take creative direction and go through iterative rounds of revisions to deliver best work
· Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects to meet tight deadlines
· Online portfolio and sample URLs required for application
· Understanding of Web 2.0 practices, applications, design practices and trends
· A design degree in graphic design, digital media design or other visual arts |
