| Job Description: |
Responsibilities:
1.Checking Consultants’ compliance with their obligations under existing Consultancy Services contracts.
2.Checking Consultants and contractors requests for payment/invoices per contract requirements.
3.Review suitability of existing standard contracts and procedures.
4.Drafting Consultancy Services contracts.
5.Drafting agreements for contracts with services providers e.g. on the basis of EPC/design and build or BOOT contracts.
6.Review the performance of the PMC; comment on the adequacy and accuracy of their deliverables from a contractual perspective.
7.Drafting contractual replies to consultants and contractors.
8.Corresponding with statutory authorities e.g. Telephone dept, Water and Electricity Board etc., as requested.
9.Analyzing and reporting regarding claims and requests for variations to scope.
10.Review and comment on Contracts
11.Review Vendor Evaluation Process
12.Commenting on construction cost estimates prepared by consultants.
13.Responsible for the contract selection and preparation in conjunction with the Construction Managers and PMC.

Skills Required:: |
Skills, Knowledge and Experience :
Qualifications:
•A minimum of 10 years experience in Contracts Management Role
•BS .c (MSc will be added advantage) in Contract Management or related field
•Additional experience in Real Estate Projects
•Chartered Quantity Surveyor (Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors – FRICS) isa plus
•Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators – (ACIArb) is a plus
•Minimum 10 years of related work experience, with at least 5 years in the Middle East, preferablyin Qatar or the Gulf Area. Fluency in written and spoken English
•Ability to read, analyse and interpret all types of Contracts relating to both products and service delivery
•Familiarity with e-business suite products desirable |
