| Job Description: |
My client, a well-known firm, is urgently looking for an Advisory Manager to lead the delivery of strategy and performance projects, ensuring the quality of the engagements is of the highest possible standard. Managing the resources effectively, whilst at the same time developing client relationships to develop business for the function.
Responsibilities
Strategy Development
• Lead business strategy studies and workshops for clients.
• Production of articulate and commercially sound feasibility studies and business plans
Financial Analysis
• Good working knowledge of financial models (including building them)
• Ability to review financial models/ statements in depth and provide analytical insight with regard to investment appraisal and financial forecasts
Guiding Research
• Ensuring the research is of the highest possible quality, value and relevance.
• Leading the provision of insightful & commercial analytical inputs for the project.
Report Preparation
• Reviewing and assessing all reports, ensuring the outcomes stand up to the tight scrutiny and that the results are presented in the best possible way.
• Taking full responsibility for the final report and presentation.
Competenties
Research
• Highly detail orientated
• Extremely accurate.
• Highly capable of interpreting data.
Financial Modelling and Analysis
• High degree of competency in preparing and reviewing financial model
• Detail orientation.
• High level of competency with financial modelling tools including MS excels.
Communication
• Fluent in English, written and verbal.
• Preferably Arabic speaking.
Interpersonal
• Confident and friendly approach.
• Prepared to work the hours required of the role.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• Able to work to tight deadlines.
Experience
• Graduate with a GPA of 2.5 / 4 or above, preferably in a business related degree.
• MBA or qualified Chartered accountant
• 7-9 Years relevant work experience.
• 2-3 years management experience.
• Ideally post graduate degree.
• Strong experience of developing business plans and strategies.
• Strong market research capabilities.
• Experience of business improvement strategies.
