| Job Description: |
Purpose:
To develop and provide cost engineering, scheduling and estimating services for the program management team as per the direction of GM- Engineering & Construction.
Core Activities:
1.Review contractors pay applications for accuracy and conformance with progress
2.Evaluate contractor cost proposals and provide claim analysis.
3.Participate in change order negotiations
4.Prepare and oversee independent cost estimates for comparison with designer and/or contractors estimates
5.Attend contractor progress meetings
6.Evaluate contractor’s baseline schedule and cost-loaded schedule
7.Evaluate cost impacts of contractor recovery schedules 8.Track project costs to contract closeout.

Skills Required:: |
The candidate should have done B.Sc. in Engineering with Cost engineering specialisation.
At least 8- 10 years relevant experience preferably in a large scale construction projects
Thorough knowledge of cost engineering principles
Excellent computer skills with working knowledge in cost engineering soft wares.
Preferably working experience in the Middle East or the Gulf region.
Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills.
Excellent command of the English language preferably Bilingual Arabic/English |
