Reports To: Senior Managing Director
Description: The incumbent will lead direct sales efforts in the mission critical Japanese automotive market. Acts as a Channel (Reseller) Manager until business transition date June 30, 2009 and works as a direct Sales Manager from July 1, 2009.
Responsibilities:
· Work closely with other automotive focused resources and staff both within Japan and Natick
· Take part in internal sales management & industry focused meetings, spend a great deal of time in the field visiting customers, and closely manage sales funnel/forecasting responsibilities
· Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
· Collaborate closely with Cybernet team to identify the needs of automotive accounts in Japan and secure the necessary support and resources to appropriately respond to needs until June 30, 2009
· Develop, update, and oversee Account Plans for all major customers in the industry
· Work with sales organization, ensuring that all sales staff are adequately trained and qualified to represent and sell the company’s family of products
· Contribute to the creation and implementation of annual and long term plans for the automotive industry in Japan, while contributing to the direction and execution of strategic activities such as J-MAAB and MATLAB Expo |
Skills Required:: |
Qualifications: The incumbent should possess strong written and verbal (both Japanese & English) skills.
1. Bachelor’s degree
2. Experience in a sale management role
3. Experience selling and/or marketing technology-oriented products/solutions
4. Experience using CRM tools
5. Strong sales planning, negotiating, proposal writing, and account management skills
6. Experience managing sales representatives
