Job Title Chief Accountant/accounting Manager Office
Department Finance and Administration Grade: C
Reports to Head of Finance & Administration
Job purpose
To prepare the monthly Financial Statements of the Company and co-ordinate with Personnel and Services Section on employee related matters.
• Prepare monthly P&L account & Balance Sheet for the HoD review.
• Administer Sun Accounting System (accounting software) for the daily account keeping.
• Issue design invoices/credit notes for the services and work executed to the clients.
• Review client contracts & Follow up receivables from Clients.
• Check and authorise payment vouchers to process payment.
• Supervise staff for daily routine accounting work.
• Co-ordinate with Personnel and Services Section on employee related matters like leave history chart audit, calculations for payment and payroll, approval of staff final entitlement for retention and payment, etc.
• Check and finalise payroll to transfer salaries to the employees through various Banks.
• Liaise with auditors for the annual audit of Financial Statements.
Minimum Qualifications B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce)
Preferred Qualifications CPA/CA
Registration required No
Type of Experience required 10 years accounting experience as Senior/Chief Accountant.
