Our Client is located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. The health care facilities that comprise SKMC are situated on an island about five miles wide and nine miles long. Architecturally, Abu Dhabi is an intriguing city where the domes and minarets of traditional mosques are surrounded by ultramodern skyscrapers, tree-lined boulevards, gleaming fountains and parks.
This hospital operates under the management and direction of Health Authority - Abu Dhabi. The Medical City has several ‘Centres of Excellence’ and aspires to practice contemporary medicine comparable to the best hospitals and medical centres in the world. The hospital provides comprehensive health care services in all of the disciplines relevant to the needs and priorities of the community and promotes a work ethos sensitive to the social and cultural values of the Community to attain the highest levels of patient satisfaction.
We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant for Emergency Medicine to work in their modern facilities in the heart of Abu Dhabi.
Applicant should hold one of the following:
* Residency and American Board Certified or equivalent
* Equivalent training program and fellowship in Canada, Australia, New Zealand
* Equivalent training program and membership in the United Kingdom, Ireland
Preferred
American Sub Speciality or equivalent
Applicant should also have:
* Minimum 6 years relevant experience post board certification/membership OR Minimum 4 years relevant clinical experience in addition to not less than 2 year in the subspecialty.
* Minimum 4 years in the same country of certification
* Evidence of current accreditation of current establishment
* Senior academic position would be an advantage
* Original Research and publication in indexed Journals
* Fellowship training in a centre of excellence for the subspecialty will be an advantage
* Certified proof of yearly CME
