Headway Corporate Resources has been entrusted to fill a Java Engineer III opportunity with an industry leader located in Las Vegas, Nevada!!!
Responsibilities:
Research, design and develop system software/firmware in conjunction with the KCMS client and peripheral product development.
Demonstrate an extensive JAVA/C++ object oriented programming skills.
Analyze objectives and problems specified by engineers and/or designers. Coordinate the testing scripts, documentation, and deployment schedule with the QA, Training and Documentation departments.
Meet difficult technical challenges and tight deadlines. Troubleshoot and diagnose client issues and resolve in efficient and timely manner.
May directly supervise or train other software engineers to complete project within time and budgetary constraints. May carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization`s policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities may also include mentoring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Requirements:
BSEE or BSCE from a four-year college or university (Computer Sciences, Engineering, or related field), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five+ years experience as object oriented programmer. High degree of knowledge and understanding of computer systems, Java, C++, C, JDBC, Oracle, or other RDBMS, SQLPlus, networking, and SAS protocols. Gaming experience a plus.
