The Client
Our Client is a US-MNC and one of the leading apparel manufacturing company with retail, distribution and production facilities in Asia and overseas.
The Job
The incumbent will set up Group requirements for factories and approved sub-contractors regarding quality system, quality assurance and control, vendors compliance and product safety etc.. Build, lead and direct Compliance team at group level so as to work effectively to monitor the factory quality performance and agree upon the corrective action plan with the line management in order to achieve the pre-set quality goals and standard. Pursue a proactive approach and strategy in advising the top management and line management of companies on areas of concerns in QC with potential improvement. Perform "live quality" to make sure quality concepts and awareness are built into each process of the factories, sub-contractors and suppliers. Responsible for resolving the exceptional QA and QC specific issues with line management in different processes

Skills Required:: |
The Candidate
The successful Candidate must have a Degree in Clothing and Textile studies or equivalent. Has a minimum of 10 years working experience in quality assurance or related field, of which minimum 5 years or working experience at managerial level;
with 3 years of QA/QC management experience at senior level in garment or apparel industry, most preferably in the sportswear manufacturing sector. Knowledge in production process & procedures, ISO9001/TQM/System Management/Quality Statistics is critical. Solid experience in formulating and implementing QC management systems across the companies and across the regions is definitely an advantage. Strategic in planning but also practical in implementation of programs. He must be able to lead & drive the production team on quality issue prevention, action & trouble-shooting. Possess good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese is a must; Good Putonghua skills would be a plus. Frequent travel across the regions in the mainland and the overseas is required.
