Currie & Brown France is looking for a Contract Manager.
Contract duration: Minimum 18 months
Location: EU or Middle east
Main purpose of job: Support in the contractual administration
Job Duties:
- Review all incoming client or contractors Site correspondence and prepare replies for review by Site Management;
- Review contractual conditions to ensure that the Site Management is fully informed of our Client’s contractual obligations, and in particular ensure that all relevant contractual Notices are issued in due time;
- Identify and initiate requests for Change Orders in conjunction with the Site Management and Projects Contract Manager;
- Identify and prepare contractual position to ensure that solidly based claims for Extension of Time may be made, including recovery of costs for extension of the project schedule. Participate in the negotiation of the same with the Client or contractors in conjunction with the Project Director;
- Assist in the submission of Requests for Payment;
- Attend client review meetings when requested by the Site Management or the Project Contract Manager, and prepare contractual section of monthly Site project reports..

Skills Required:: |
- Fluent in English (oral & written)
- Degree in Business, Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, Construction Management or Cost Engineering or equivalent experience;
- Proficiency in the administration of contracts and formulation of claims;
- Demonstrated capability to prepare and make effective presentations to client, and project teams;
- Good contractual experience, capable of acting on his own initiative to protect the interests of the company.
