| Job Description: |
Purpose of Job
To provide marine operational advice, Coordination and Control of all marine related activities in the company through the lifecycle of petroleum resource from exploration to abandonment.
E.G. Berthing and loading services for both the terminals at SBMs, and BLNG offshore jetty and locating of rigs, barges, inspection of marine vessel.
Principal accountabilities
Berthing and Loading Master at Seria Terminal SBM’s, BLNG Lumut Terminal
Tow Master for Mobile Offshore Units
Vessel and MOU inspections to assess suitability, contract conformation, integral and operational marine HSE.
Marine operations support to BSP offshore activities.
Design and approval of anchor pattern plans for various types of vessels and MOUs.
Incident investigation and cross auditing of other functions, providing marine expertise.
Take up Marine Captains Duty/Marine Helpdesk Duties on rotation basis.
BSP Port facility Security focal point (See Bsp Pfsp Section10.2) and responsible to maintain business critical ISPS certification
Providing Marine Technical Advise to the various BSP Function/Departments

Skills Required:: |
Qualifications
Required
- Master Class I Certificate of Competency issued by a recognised authority is the minimum requirement with STCW 95, Petroleum or Gas dangerous cargoes endorsements.
Preferred
- 3 years experience as a pilot preferably on SBM’s and rig move operations
Competence Required
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years experience as Chief Officer on a tanker engaged on international voyages.
Good knowledge of shipping operations and ship/shore interface management.
Piloting experience and/ or working knowledge of E & P Offshore activities would be beneficial.
- Training Experience in marine related project work would be beneficial.

Special Abilities
- Up to date knowledge on Marine rules and regulations.
Good communicator, both in written and oral English.
To manage and integrate with marine professionals and diverse non- marine professional in Exploration and Production functions. |
