Interface Co-ordinator - Development of Muscat and Salalah International Airports
The Interface Co-ordinator shall be fully conversant with the strategy behind the various Main Contract packages and the physical interfaces between each.
asks
• Determine the Main Contract package interface boundaries and providing ground co-ordinates de-picting the physical boundaries within the overall site (Northings and Eastings). Produce drawings showing this information.
• Clearly define in detail what is included in each Main Contract package across each interface line with regard to scope of work for each Contractor concerning utilities, services, signage, ground works, surface finishes, others.
• Work closely with all Main Contract package design teams regarding production of detailed inter-face drawings for issue as part of the Tender submission.
• Assist Design Managers in controlling the co-ordination of all Contract interfaces.
• Assist the Time and Progress Planning team in compiling the Construction Schedules being issued to the Main Contractors as part of the Tender package to clearly show the interface requirements and contract inter-related milestones.

Skills Required:: |
The ideal candidate should possess
• Good command of English, spoken and written
• Airport experience (in some instances this may be waivered depending on seniority of role under-taken in other types of Projects, e.g. railway stations, shopping malls etc)
• Middle East experience (or other international experience)
• FIDIC experience (or similar)
