HS and E Manager - Development of Muscat and Salalah International Airports
The HS&E Manager will be responsible for managing the programs safety and environmental teams.
Tasks
• Supervise the overall program environmental, safety and schedules.
• Provide direction and supervision to the Safety Officers and Environmental Managers reporting to him.
• Assess the need for environmental services based on applicable regulations and works with Contracts Manager to develop task or RFP’s for Environmental Services and assists in the selection and procurement of such services.
• Provide assistance to the client in the review of Environmental Impact Assessments and review environmental plans for compliance.
• Coordinate safety requirements with airport operations, as well as with contractors, and monitoring safety guidelines, procedures, and standards.
• Supervise the conduction of safety orientation and training, reviewing all contractually mandated contractor safety submittals and organization for a program-wide safety as well as conduction of periodic safety meetings.

Skills Required:: |
General requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
• Good command of English, spoken and written
• Airport experience (in some instances this may be waivered depending on seniority of role undertaken in other types of Projects, e.g. railway stations, shopping malls etc)
• Middle East experience (or other international experience)
• FIDIC experience (or similar)
• 10 years managerial experience (depending of the job).
