Hours of Operation: Day shift, 40-hour-week, no oncall duties. Requirements: Expert Solaris UNIX system design skill. Ability to translate user requirements into system design specifications. Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to program in an administrative language (Tk, Perl, a shell). Solaris v10 experience required. Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking Veritas NetBackup, VCS, LDAP experience a plus. · Skill Sets: · Solaris OS v10 · Services: User/Group Management, Printers, Bind, Jumpstart, NIS, Solaris Domain Management · Scripts: bash, ksh, perl · Solaris Hardware · High-End: Solid background and work history on support, troubleshooting and building E15k E25k. · Veritas Volume Manager 3.2 - 4.0 · Veritas Cluster 3.5 - 4.0 · SAN NAS Storage exposure/knowledge · Provisioning from flash archives (FLARs) · Scripting skills · |
