Position Title : Key Account Marketing Manager / Key Account Manager - OEM Incumbent :
Department : Sales
Basic Function
Responsible for the coordination of the sales efforts, after sales service and management of the branch office. This includes developing new distributors and liaising with the distributors, introduction of new products, preparing the necessary budgets and overall supervision of the market penetration plan within the assigned regions under the care of the branch office.
Lead sales team, formulate sales strategy for assigned territory, develop sales forecast, budget and manpower plans; directs distributors and /or sales force to achieve sales targets; pursue major prospects and lead in major negotiations as well as recommend appropriate terms of sales.
Specific Responsibilities
• Established personal contact, and maintain an on-site relationship with clients.
• The incumbent will be responsible for order execution as well as inspection activities for various orders.
• He will be supporting the regional sales teams for tendering.
• To ensure that the collections are made in the stipulated time period and debtors are maintained as per the target given.
• Support and manage sales team, including training and motivating it towards agreed objectives and achievement of the prescribed target within an allocated budget.
• Provide guidance, review company’s practices and procedures, develop sales programs with sales team, distributors’ management team, their sub-distributors and their key buyers.
• Advise on discount and /or sales policy and profit related issues as well as any ideas in relation to increasing the competitiveness of the company.
• Analyze and evaluate assigned area regarding sales trends, sales potentials, competition, economic/business conditions, and recommend changes in sales programs to make area operation more effective in meeting sales volume quotas.
• Maintain grasp on the market and competitive situation by providing information on competitor’s activities, products, cost and other related information advantageous to the company.
• Provide training and assist in resolving specific questions or problems regarding the sales programs, installation and after sales technical issues. Evaluate and approve defective product claim reports by customers.
• Perform any assignments given by the company.
