| Job Description: |
1. Supervises the clinical activities of all nursing personnel in PARR.
2. Coordinates clinical activities among the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
3. Maintains high quality nursing care for all patients.
4. Functions as a role model for all unit personnel.
5. Relieves Unit Manager as required. |
Skills Required:: |
1. BSN, Associate Degree or graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
2. Current nursing license registration from country of citizenship or professional practice.
3. Minimum of three (3) years current postgraduate experience, in an acute care setting, two (2) years of which is in the assigned specialty i.e. medical, surgical, pediatrics, operating room or emergency room.
4. One (1) year previous experience in a Charge Nurse, Head Nurse or assistant Head Nurse position preferred and/ or demonstrates leadership qualities during relief Charge Nurse assignment in the RN I position.
5. One (1) year ophthalmic nursing experience preferred.
6. At least (25) years of age.
