| Job Description: |
This position is part of the Controller`s Department with primary accountabilities for leading global general ledger process efficiency and control projects, providing finance technical support for the SAP FI (Finance), CO (Controlling) modules and Treasury module; finance master data for North America and International SAP instances; and SAP finance security management. A base understanding of integrated ERP systems is required along with accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
Accountabilities:
- Leads global general ledger process efficiency and control projects
- Owns finance master data for North America and International SAP instances
- Co-leads SAP security development and approval for finance roles
- Business lead for SAP upgrades to general ledger
- Accounting validation of new SAP configuration
- Provides SAP user support
- Assists with month end close process
- Provides SAP support for clientss acquisitions, divestitures, and related integrations
- Liaison between user groups and I.S. for the SAP treasury module
- Provide ongoing support
- Leadership role in upgrades and improvements to system
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, CIS (Computer Information Systems), Computer Science, Finance, or MIS (Management Information Systems) or other Bachelors degree with industry related experience
- 6+ years of relevant work experience
- A base understanding of integrated ERP systems, SAP preferred
- Demonstrated ability to influence business process
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated project and change management experience
