Responsibility: You will join the regions market leader in a senior management position where you will be responsible for managing the structural design operations of the department and contributing to the effective and profitable development, performance and growth for the Company.
The principle activities or this role are:
To plan, lead, organize and control operations of the Structural Department.
To provide technical oversight to the structural staff engaged in design and documentation of projects.
To make authorative design decisions and recommendations coordinated with project requirements.
To provide leadership in the exchange of knowledge relating to best, current international practice and in identification and analysis of new technology and trends.
To develop and maintain positive professional relations when dealing with current and prospective Clients.
To conduct progressive staff performance and development evaluations.
Qualification & Experience: To be considered candidates will need to satisfy the following selection criteria:
Bachelor Degree in Structural Engineering
Minimum of 15 years experience in this field, of which at least 2 years need to have been spent in a senior role.
Demonstrate a practical knowledge and understanding of design, construction and project management concepts.
Experience with tall towers and commercial buildings is a must.
Strong managerial skills are essential.
Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
