Vice Versa International FZ-LLC is the management company of the Vice Versa® card, the leading smart chip card programme designed for premium travellers. In Dubai, more than 150,000 cards have been placed into the hands of visitors from more than 100 countries, offering Cash-rewards in 300 premium Partner Outlets such as Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Von Dutch, Tommy Hilfiger and many, many more. The Vice Versa card showcases the capabilities and wide range of features that Vice Versa International’s technology can provide retailers and service providers, such as instant reward and redemption for loyalty cards, employee cards and e-purse solutions which has successfully been used at concerts with artist such as Shakira, P!NK, Santana and next Kylie Minogue (November 2008) catering for more than 25,000 concert goers during the events. In Dubai, we are a team of 14 employees. All services and data are processed at Vice Versa International’s headquarters and technology hub in Dubai Internet City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Vice Versa International is seeking a Business Development Manager to manage new and existing Partnerships for the Vice Versa® card programme in Dubai. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the width and depth of Participating Partner outlets, profile match, their service level and sales performance. More specific responsibilities include:
• Sign-up new partnerships to grow the Partner outlet network
• Secure successful implementation of new Partner Outlets
• Partner retention / Key account management
• Grow Partner sales performance (spend and frequency)
• Grow Vice Versa’s revenue streams from Partners from joint promotions, enrolment and membership fees and commission etc.

To be successful in the role you must be a person full of energy and with a ‘make-it-happen’ attitude. You must be passionate about creating new contacts, establishing new leads and turn these to Partnership as well as have a desire to utilize full market potential. You will be multitasking and deal with many new prospects and projects at the same time. It’s crucial that you strive to create results rater today than tomorrow!
The ideal candidate is a great networker and has good interpersonal skills. You must have work experience from the retail industry in Dubai, preferred in fashion retail / luxury brands (either working for a larger retail establishment or a Mall) or a similar environment for minimum 3 years. The right candidate will have a good business understanding, and some technology flair is an advantage, as selling the Vice Versa programme to any organisation requires solution selling to decision makers cross many departments like finance, IT, Sales and Marketing. Experience in loyalty programs, coalition programs or in liaising with channel / multi-partners will be a plus. You must be good in written and oral English.
