Our client is a manufacturer and supplier for a broad variety of industries. The branch linked to the position is responsible for
Bracing and construction of columns and pillars for buildings, bridges and harbours
Building boring pipes used for underground drilling through which thinner pipes and wires are inserted in order to avoid excavation of public roads
Works related to underground tunnels, passageways, ground warehouses, shelters and border blocks
The position General Manager of the Pipe Plant is to direct the operations of the facility as well as managing the microeconomic matters in order to control the company`s success.
The general manager has the responsibility for 400 employees and reports directly to the CEO of the group. Duties included therefore are the controlling of maintenance, profit & loss as well as turnover, optimisation and technology.

Skills Required:: |
In order to be able to handle the challenging requirements connected to the job position, the candidate should have a degree in engineering or similar academic background with at least 10 years of working experience. Further, a broad technical knowledge - preferably with experience with "spiral wound" is required.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers, suppliers and internal employees in both written and oral form.
The candidate is expected to be able to work independently and on his own authority and requires good leadership skills.
