Novus Europe are specialist recruiters of high level IT Consultants in mainland Europe. For one of our financial services clients based in Germany, we are urgently looking for an ambitious Java Developer to work in a dynamic team to develop and implement IT Solutions for key customers.
The role will incorporate designing technical solutions from client and functional specifications using the latest java technologies and associated methodologies. You will be responsible for helping with development and the undertaking of the design, architecture, object-oriented analysis, development, testing and implementation of complex Java applications and solutions for key clients and critical projects.

Skills Required:: |
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
• Proven technical experience in the development and architecture of Java/J2EE applications
• Experience in the financial services / capital markets / trading / investment banking / derivatives field
• Proven experience with EJB and JSP
• Good knowledge of object-oriented design and analysis and the UML methodology
• Proven experience with relational databases
• Good knowledge of XML/XSL and DTD/Schema |
