Design Civil Engineer required for Australia are required for Australia

Specialising in Civil Engineering (not structures) with the main focus of the work being related to:-
* Urban Residential land development;
* Civil Engineering for Higher Density Residential development;
* Civil Engineering for commercial and industrial development;
* Urban drainage and stormwater management;
* Stormwater quality management;
* Rural land development;
* A variety of smaller projects
Design Civil Engineer Duties, and skills required
* Using survey and other data supplied by others, prepare layouts for development areas, roads, stormwater drainage, water reticulation, sewerage reticulation and associated Works based on criteria laid down by Councils and/or other authority references and policies;
* Using industry standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D with Advance Road Design enhancement), prepare horizontal and vertical alignments for the roads/streets plus intersection designs and designs for traffic management devices;
* Analyse the drainage layout to determine pipe sizes, grades, etc and hydraulic grade lines using industry standard software (using XP Storm). Prepare longitudinal sections for the drainage lines and details for any special treatments;
* Ability to undertake investigations, analysis and documentation for water quality management would be an advantage, including use of the industry standard M.U.S.I.C. Modelling software;
* Undertake field visits and investigations relating to the tasks at hand including enquiries with Council and others to collect and collate background data required to complete the design and documentation of the projects;
* Prepare reports on designs and analysis for submission to Council in support of applications for approval;
* Such other tasks as may be agreed as appropriate from time to time based on skills and background
Must be a qualified Professional engineer: four-year Bachelor of Engineering degree, who is suitable for admisson to Engineers Australia.
