ColdFusion Developer
LibreDigital is seeking a ColdFusion Developer who must have extensive experience in building clean, commented and error-free code, preferably with a background in supporting legacy systems while concurrently developing new features and applications. This person must be able to think holistically to both foresee potential issues as well as identify areas for improvement. Being able to work in a cross platform environment that includes Ajax, JavaScript, DHTML, CSS, HTML and XML with minimal supervision is critical. Most importantly, this person must have demonstrated and proven experience interfacing with a fast moving team.
LibreDigital is a privately held developer of technology that enables publishers to capture readers of books and publications through digital formats. This position is based in their corporate headquarters in Austin, TX.
Requirements:
Knowledge of how to develop in a 6.1 version of ColdFusion that does not offer many of the tools that the newer versions of the software contains.
Experience in and ability to work in a cross platform environment that includes Linux & Windows.
Development experience with Ajax, JavaScript, DHTML, CSS, HTML and XML.
Clear understanding of Oracle (preferred) and SQL.
Capable of working on an island where specific deliverables are assigned and deadlines are met without the assistance of a development team.
Documented history of consistently improving code because of curiosity and a commitment to always looking for ways to make an existing product better.
Experience working within a team environment where they have to interact with Project Managers, Implementation Managers, QA and other Developers.
