Network Engineers
Job description
HPL`s network engineers are responsible for evaluating, designing and deploying
robust communication networks for our different projects in the industry. We ensure
the smooth operation of networks in order to provide maximum performance and
availability for the users of the systems we construct.
Responsibilities
• Recommending, procurement, installing, supporting and maintaining new
server hardware and software infrastructure for projects
• Analyzing network infrastructures and formulating recommendations to
optimize network performance
• Ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient use of servers, ensuring that all
IT equipment complies with industry standards
• Providing training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT
knowledge and competence
• Working closely with other departments/organizations and collaborating with
other IT staff
• Planning and implementing future IT developments and undertaking project
work
• Supervision in designing and further development of Headway`s internal IT
infrastructure
Requirements
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals, network routing protocols and
physical infrastructure
• Experienced in Linux networking
• Ability to employ good troubleshooting skills and creative problem solving
abilities under pressure.
• Has excellent communication skills and leadership potential
• Minimum 2 years experience in network engineering or a bachelor`s degree in
a technical discipline
• Experience in Windows network administration, scripting, and programming is
a plus |
