Job Title: QC Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities:
Participates in new product design process with an emphasis on the area of product quality;
Devise, manage and oversee company standard testing procedures for manufacturing and development environments;
Oversee product certification activities (CSA, UL, FCC, and ANSI)
Perform statistical analysis on deployed hardware products to determine optimal quality control processes and methodologies;
Design and build automated testing equipment where required;
Perform field site visits to validate performance of new products;
Document the companys existing systems and procedures; make recommendations for improvements and/or alternatives.
Qualifications:
10 years Experience
University Degree in the field of Civil Engineering;
Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis;
Strong understanding of corporate policies and operating principles;
Working technical knowledge of current computer systems software;
Proven project planning and management experience;
Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws;
Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities;
Exceptional understanding of the organizations goals and objectives;
Superior written and oral communication skills;
Strong interpersonal and consultative skills;
Ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and trends, standards, and product as required;
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language;
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment;
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
