Lime Brokerage International (Ireland) Limited , Director of Technology (Dublin, Ireland, travel in EU and to NYC and Boston MA may be required on a regular basis - Lime would consider sponsoring a visa and or relocation for the right candidate if required)
Overview
LBIIL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lime Brokerage Holdings LLC in New York, a privately held company that owns the wholly owned Broker dealer: Lime Brokerage LL in the US. The implementation of MIFID in November 2007 has opened up the European Equity markets to the introduction of DMA trading. This completion is seen as an opportunity for Limes existing client base to expand their trading into Europe.
The role is likely to change over time; initially the role will involve the following:
Key tasks / Responsibilities
Spend time in Limes Engineering facility in Waltham, MA to learn the Lime Trading Platform, including market data, order management and associated technologies
Establish EU datacenter and client Co-Lo facility for LBIIL (in London)
Define and document changes required to deploy the Lime Trading Platform in Europe and work with US-based resources to deliver the platform.
Manage the integration and deployment of the Lime Trading Platform in London
Recruit, train and manage additional IT support staff as required in Dublin / London
Once the European trading platform is operational the role is likely to evolve to include:
Key tasks / Responsibilities
Maintaining internal SLAs in respect to the EU Trading system
Managing IT requirements of LBIIL and project management of IT related projects
Managing all IT related staff and their workloads
Developing and maintain the IT budget for LBIIL
Advising senior management and the board on IT related issues
Job Qualifications
Lime is seeking an individual with 7 to 10 years experience within a Banking / Networking / ECN / Stock Exchange / Similar environment.
Experience with Direct Market Access, point-to-point lines, the FIX protocol
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills
Experience with basic Linux administration
Experience with basic TCP/IP networking
Preferred: Exposure to Intel servers, Cisco routers and switches
An appropriate qualification undergraduate and higher degree
