We are an international art book publisher. We are currently looking to appoint a Chief Accountant to manage our Accounts department, based in Saigon, Vietnam.
The successful candidate is a serious, experienced, responsible, outgoing, and resourceful person who enjoys intellectual challenge. A perfect knowledge of English and American accounting is indispensable. The candidate will be reporting to the President of the company. The Chief accountant will join our existing accounting team and play a pivotal role in achieving company goals.
The candidate will hold the position of Chief Accountant and after the probation period the position of Manager of the department of Administration and Finance. The candidate will complete his work according to the job duties defined as follows:
• Plan, direct, update and coordinate all accounting functions and that of credit control; and
• Manage month end close, audit requirements and taxation and regulatory filing deadlines; and
• Fulfill functional accounting tasks such as account receivables, account payables, payroll, business plan with the inclusion of a budget and cash flow; and
• Create both monthly and ad hoc financial reports and monthly financial statements; and
• Establish and maintain accounting practices to ensure accurate processes.
• Liaison with our customers, suppliers and other third parties including our overseas accountants.
This position requires a CPA or MBA degree and 3-5 years of professional experience, demonstrated proficiency in applying best practices in accounting, excellent critical-thinking, organizational, process-building skills, problem-solving skills, the ability to think creatively and conceptually as well as analytically. The candidate must be proficient in SAGE 50 multi-currency.
