Key Responsibilities;
Based in Kabul, Afghanistan, reporting to the Country Manager and the Regional Dealership Development Manager in Thailand
Responsible for overall strategic management and leadership for TATA Motors Sales office in Afghanistan
To plans, implements, and manages the sales programs, activities and initiatives of TATA Motors under limited supervision
Manages all strategic, operational and administrative aspects of the Sales unit.
To perform direct customer sales in key areas; promote and maintain customer relations with major accounts.(US Army, United Nations, Etc
)
To achieve annual sales target.
To oversee all facets of the daily operations of the organizational unit, ensuring compliance with standards.
To provide market research and analysis; prepare research-based reports and sales forecasts for the management.
Develop and manage annual sales and operating budgets, and regularly monitor sales performance to budget parameters.
To assume responsibility for all publicity, advertising, direct mail, catalogs, exhibits, awards, title sub-right activities, and website management for the company.
To represent the company at conferences, meetings, exhibits, and other special events; promote new and existing programs and initiatives.

Skills Required:: |
Ideal candidates will possess:
Bachelors degree or higher in related field
Excellent spoken and written English skills
Be able to communicate and motivate
Understands the principles product offer development, features-benefits-solutions selling
Experience of managing sales unit is useful.
Must be adept in use of MS Office 2003 or later, particularly Excel and Word, Internet and email
Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, gross margin percentages and calculations, depreciation, capital and revenue expenditure, cash flow, overheads, etc.
Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator.
Able to demonstrate success and experience managing major accounts customers and large contracts
Experience of tenders would also be useful
Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance
Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior company executives + Institutional ( US Army, United Nations etc)
Reliable, tolerant and determined
Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other persons point of view
Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel up to a few days a month
Organized and methodical approach to problem solving.
