| Job Description: |
Supervising the production of shop drawings and monitoring scheduled outputs as per contract details,.
Evaluating tenders, submitted reports, IFC drawings and designs, in addition to evaluating and editing standard specifications related to means and methods of construction,
Attending site technical meetings and facilitating solutions to technical problems in a timely and professional manner,
Evaluating and approving projects` material, technical specifications and related calculations, and specifying requirements of materials and structural elements,
Overseeing the design of different structural elements and ensuring that it complies with contract requirements and operational and safety standards and regulations,
Producing, checking and reviewing the design of detailed shop drawings, specifications, material description and software used prior to construction,
Developing systems and procedures related to the practice of structural activities and controlling all related documents including submittals and transmittals,
Providing project-site support and communicating with projects staff to clarify details and discuss modifications when required,
Ensuring a clear understanding of contracts and clarifying conflicts by preparing requests for information (RFIs) when needed,
Providing technical assistance to the staff and finding ways to increase the quality of work and the staff productivity,
Managing staff performance and vetting subcontractors work to ensure that all projects are being executed as per the prepared specifications, in addition to preparing reports concerning the status of engineering activities in conjunction with project schedules,
Assisting in the development of budgets and programs planning for special or assigned projects,
Participating in implementing and transforming policies, goals and plans into medium and short-term plans to ensure internal work development and productivity increase,
Participating in the development of the section’s work plan; distributing and following-up on work activities, projects and programs, monitoring work flow and reviewing work methods and procedures,
Suggesting plans and programs that strive to boost the effectiveness of the section,
Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates to ensure that priorities are clear and actions are running smoothly,

Skills Required:: |
Must be prepared to relocate to Saudi Arabia
B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Project Management Professional Certification
Twelve years of experience in construction of which at least four years in a Senior position
Professional knowledge in Project Management, building codes and standards such as BS, UBC and IBC, contract forms like FIDIC, construction methods and procedures
