| Job Description: |
Responsible for Engineering, Planning and Materials Departments at Project site and Reports to the Project Director for all activities and resources for these departments. Overseeing all the technical services required and supervising of related Engineering, Planning and Materials activitiesDirecting the engineering and planning activities for all projects including preparing shop drawings, MEP designs, schedules and work plans. Approving all submittals and drawings. Review all designs and shop drawings prepared by subordinates or subcontractors prior to issuing them for construction, as well as approving reports to be submitted to the management and to clients.Leading discussions with clients. Developing work strategies, communicating with projects staff, and working together to meet client`s requirements in a timely and professional manner.Participating in the establishment of strategies, policies and goals for the company.Setting the estimated budget, and monitoring the company’s expenditures and financial performance in coordination with the Finance Department Manager. Disseminating instructions, circulars and information in addition to issuing administrative, organizational and technical decisions necessary to fulfill endorsed plans and executive programs. Supporting the preparation of all work plans, reviewing and approving scheduled activities and dates, and empowering subordinates with tools to achieve their work within the defined timeframes. Ensuring a proper
communication with clients through managing the handling of Requests For Information, discussions of drawings, setting time frames and submittals of progress reports.
Professional knowledge in construction methods and standards in material specifications and building codes.
