Salary Structure: TBD
Location: Seoul Metropolitan Area
Paid Leave: 7 days for first 12 month period after commencement of work
15 days for second 12 month period
20 days per year thereafter; with maximum carryover rights of 20 days
All South Korea Public Holidays, as they fall by calendar year
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:30

Purpose Of Position:
To promote R. L. Polk as a leading automotive information provider in South Korea
To manage the relationships of R. L. Polk’s Korea-based customers; both new and existing
To support Korea-based clients’ ongoing business needs, whilst actively seeking out new opportunities
To utilise existing client relationships to leverage R. L. Polk reputation and capability in order to establish new sales opportunities among automotive clients in domestic Korea
To maintain and nurture Polk’s relationship with the South Korean automotive authorities, such as KAMA, KAIDA.
Principal Activities:
Actively seek sales and marketing opportunities among automotive related companies in Thailand
Coordinate and manage the researchers of Korean Price and Specification Data
Perform business planning activities relevant to specific client base, including the definition of revenue and profit targets, forecasts, and reviews
Lead sales & marketing activities in Korea and assist with establishment of key product support
Undertake client introductions and product presentations to existing, prospective clients and their users
Undertake client and user feedback surveys (Voice of Customer) and improvement initiatives based on client feedback
Negotiate pricing and payment terms with new clients
Coordinate internally with R.L Polk entities worldwide to define solutions for clients based on their desired outcomes, time requirements, business processes and budgetary constraints
Provide system support for vehicle registration database and automotive forecasting systems; NewReg, CarMaster, PolkInsight etc
Provide installation and system set up support to existing and potential clients
Provide user training, for clients and in-house personnel
Provide analytical consulting and reporting services for clients based on Polk data
Prepare client proposals relevant to specific value added solutions and price fee structures

Skills Required:: |
Position Requirements – Skills And Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in automotive industry
Native Korean language ability
Advanced English writing and speaking ability
Understanding and empathy with customer sales and client needs

Effective communication skills
Honest and fair
Confident presentation approach and skills
Ability to see bigger picture and remain flexible to meet customer requirements
Strong PC skills (especially Microsoft Office suite)

IT literate, IT experience preferable
Training:
Significant local and international training in R. L. Polk products
English written and speaking training provided
Communication / presentation skills training provided, as and when required
POLK products training, both in Japan and at overseas RL Polk offices
