Interface with liaison and internal resources to ensure reliable, accurate data in all reports sent to Sara Lee
Create ad hoc and monthly reports based on client requests
Learn and manage the Sara Lee Data Cube to ensure the most efficient processes for gathering report data is available
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions
Learn how to enter new products, plants, and letters into People Soft
Resolve customer concerns and issues
Actively participate in internal meetings
Leadership Responsibilities
Although this position will not have responsibility for direct reports, the position requires active leadership in the way of supporting strategic initiatives as well as active personal development and application of Six Sigma methodologies.
Qualifications
Proven organizational skills with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal a must. Also requires strong analytical skills, and good presentation and training skills; strong listening skills and problem solving abilities; ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; ability to embrace change; ability to interact effectively with both internal and external managers; ability to function within a team environment; ability to manage and develop priorities; ability to work independently and deliver results; ability to work as a team player; and utilizes great customer service skills.
EDUCATION and/or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent (Ged, Hsed) and a minimum of 2 years experience within a consumer affairs environment or other relevant work experience required; Bachelor`s Degree preferred.
Technology Skill Base
This position requires a working knowledge of computer technology that includes: Intermediate Word, Excel and Outlook. Individuals must possess the ability to learn and
Understand new software and other technology applications as introduced by the Client and Alta Resources. Experience in developing and writing reports preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Marthematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. |
