Responsibilities:
• Analyzes, prepares and inputs payroll data; uses automated system to produce accurate and timely payroll.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable governmental wage and hour laws.
• Prepares monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (tax statement, garnishment, benefit, etc.) for government as applicable.
• Provides support function both for Human Resources and Accounting in wage and salary administration, budgeting, and general ledger.
• Ensures that new hires, employee statuses, payroll changes, and terminations are processed in a timely manner and uploaded to the HRIS system.
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3 or more years of payroll experience working with multinational payroll including US required; 2 years experience as primary individual responsible for processing payroll for a company of at least 1000 employees in multiple countries required
• English proficiency required
• Flexibility to work evenings the majority of time; actual work schedule to be determined
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to identify problems and implement resolutions
• Working knowledge of computer technology that includes: Intermediate Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and an ERP system (experience using Great Plains preferred); ability to learn and understand new software and other technology applications as introduced
• Ability to plan and manage multiple projects with strict adherence to deadlines, company policies, and governmental regulations
