Job Description:
• Disaster Recovery Planning
• Back up
• Experience in banking sector
• Responsible for coordinating the development of advance arrangements and procedures to ensure the IT organization can respond to a disaster so that the critical business functions can be resumed within a defined time frame and the amount of loss can be minimized
• Disaster recovery plans must address the Recovery Support procedures for restoring key production systems.
• Bachelor`s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in developing disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Knowledge and understanding of current disaster recovery planning techniques and technologies.
• Working understanding of IT Infrastructure and Architecture to include voice and data telecommunications in order to assist in the preparation of recovery procedures.
• Strong project management skills, the ability to plan, organize, and direct the testing of emergency recovery procedures.
• Must be strong in developing and sustaining relationships with stakeholders whether internal or external.
• Proven strong oral and written communication skills.
