Duties/responsibilities:
Dispenses medications according to outpatient physician`s prescriptions and inpatient physicians` orders.
Reviews and interprets each prescription/order for correctness, potential drug-drug interactions, patient allergies and therapeutic duplication.
Records medications dispensed in computerized patient profile.
Supervises pre-packaging and labeling of medications in unit dose quantities for patients.
Fills nursing and other unit`s requisitions.
Answers inquiries regarding drug availability, indications, dosage and compatibility.
Admixes large volume parenterals (TPNs) and small volume parenterals (chemotherapy) after appropriate training period.
Compounds extemporaneous physicians` prescriptions by accepted professional standards.

Skills Required:: |
Candidates should be lebanese or any other nationality but living in Lebanon and willing to go live in KSA, with:
Education: BS Pharmacy.
Experience: 3 years. Candidate should have experience in the following:
Unit dose drug distribution system - 24 hour cart exchange.
Computerized patient profile.
Laminar flow hood/biological safety cabinet - parenteral admixtures.
Pharmacist interventions for contraindications, allergies, duplications dosage route of administration.
Extemporaneous compounding.
