Qualifications & Skills
University Degree
At least 15 years of experience in similar functions in road construction work supervision, contract management and more specifically in new road construction.
In particular the candidate must possess at least 5 years of experience on Design and Build Projects.
He she shall demonstrate that he has occupied similar posts on at least two similar projects with a total accumulated value of the works of 200 million Euro.
He /she will have international experience as well as at least two projects under conditions similr to those prevailing in Romania.
Good knowledge of the English language and of FIDIC Yellow Book or similar conditions of contract.
Responsibilities
He shall be in charge of the individual contract
Carry out the duties o the Employer’s Representative as delegated to him by the Employer’s Representative
Supervise execution of works and check the finished works before taking over
Timely inform both Resident Project Manager and the Quantity Engineer about probable variation orders and unexpected increases in costs, resulting from the Site Instruction issued to the contractor
Co-ordinate daily the supporting staff assigned under his direct control ensuring a constant supervision and quality control of the works in progress.
Follow up the works in order to advise the Resident Project Manager about any event
