Scope Of Work
1. Professional/Technical Title: Architect
2. Duration of Service Required: ____52________ Weeks
3. Normal Work Week: @ 40 Hours/Week: Monday thru Friday and Saturday and/or Sunday during general orders.
4. Hours of Work: As required
5. Work Location: Field Office, Far Rockaway, Queens, NY
6. Reports To: Construction Manager
7. Description of Work: Field inspection and coordination of the construction work on subway station rehabilitation contracts. Will be required to perform, but not limited to, the review of shop drawings and as-built drawings, inspection/coordination of architectural site work to ensure that the Contract requirements are met, assist in the review of Contractors’ monthly partial payments, development of scope of work and estimates for additional work orders, coordinate TA Labor Services, prepare field observation reports, daily progress reports and assist in resolving all architectural field issues.
8. Qualifications Requirements: A bachelors degree in Architecture from an accredited college.
9. Experience Requirements: Three to Seven years of construction experience for large and /or complex projects.

Skills Required:: |
Special Skills/Training Requirements: Ability to read and interpret contract drawings and specifications. Experience in computer applications and programs. Familiar with project management procedures, ability to communicate effectively with excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
