| Job Description: |
Must be good at translating the customer needs and engineering designs into executable production processes and documentation with the detail, quality and capacity to meet the business and customer needs.
•Lead the execution of world class Manufacturing Planning processes.
•Manage day to day drawing, BOM, ECN and item development, supplier capacity planning, forecasting, and scheduling, sourcing and outsourcing through the whole production process to meet the business and customer needs.
•Achieve industry leading on-time delivery, material and labour productivity, supply chain quality and risk management, EHS, cycle time reductions and inventory turn improvements through effective and efficient product transfers.
•Develop, execute and improve production planning strategies and processes (costing, ECN cut-in, WI and BOM generation, item management, sourcing, outsourcing, capacity planning, process control, quality planning, etc.).
•Develop, execute and improve hand-off processes between engineering, service, materials and production.
•Develop, execute and improve quality assurance and regulatory policies, procedures and processes.
•Develop, execute and improve change management processes (ECN, supplier selection & qualification, etc.)
•Lead continual process improvement.
•Perform other duties/special projects as assigned.

Skills Required:: |
Requirements
•Minimum 5 years Manufacturing Planning experience in an electronics and mechanical manufacturing environment.
•Demonstrated ability to execute in an entrepreneurial environment.
•Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills with customers, suppliers, employees, and senior leadership.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial team environment; the ability to work effectively with ambiguity.
•Proven ability to play various roles on a team and a vision and influence change in 360 degrees.
•Excellent experience in supplier selection, development, qualification, performance management and partnership development.
•Excellent costing, BOM, routing, item, work order, MRP system, sourcing and outsourcing management skills.
•Strong customer orientation.
•Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, MRP systems, database software, inventory/statistical analysis tools).
•Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
•Experience in the medical imaging field.
•Hands-on leader.
•Science, engineering or business degree
•Lean six sigma expertise applied to materials management processes.
